Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber wants a new booking system to be suspended until the country-wide logistics challenges are resolved.

The Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber is urging Transnet to suspend, for now, the rollout of a new truck booking system at the Port Elizabeth port until the current backlog crisis is resolved. 

Chief executive Denise van Huyssteen made this appeal following a workshop on Friday that focused on the new system.
