The food industries sector is facing major challenges in light of high raw material prices and logistics costs, in addition to increased costs to consumers, Al Arabiya TV reported, citing Abdulaziz Yamani, Chairman of Halwani Bros. Co.

Halwani Bros. or any of its subsidiaries have not experienced any supply shortage so far, as the company has several sources of raw materials across the world, Yamani said.

However, there is still room to explore and develop new sources of inputs in the future, he added.

The localization of the food industries sector provided solutions, which in turn introduced new products or developed existing ones, to cope with challenges going forward, Yamani said.
