If you’re looking specifically for an OLED TV for its incredible picture quality and gaming worthiness, and the LG, Sony, and Samsung TVs are priced out of your budget, then this TV deal might be the one you’ve been searching for.

65″ Vizio 4K OLED Smart TV for $998

The Vizio OLED TV is an older 2020 TV, and that’s why it’s less expensive than the current competition out there. This is still a true OLED TV, so expect near infinite response time and contrast ratio and perfect black levels. It does a superb job of displaying HDR content in all its glory. The Vizio has all the features you’d want in a gaming TV as well. It has a true 120Hz panel and two HDMI 2.1 ports for running 4K at 120Hz on a PS5, Xbox Series X, or RTX 30 series equipped PC. It also supports variable refresh rate (VRR) with a firmware update as well as auto low latency mode (ALLM).

If you have $300 more to spend, then we’d recommend going for the 65″ LG B2 OLED TV instead. That’s because LG has several generations of OLED TVs under its belt, whereas this is Vizio’s one and only 65″ OLED TV. However, $300 is 130% of the cost of this Vizio TV right now, and we’d be hard pressed to say it’s that much better. Compared to other non-OLED TVs in its price range, it’s easily a contender for best overall picture quality.
