Abia state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has recounted how Alex Otti made things hard for him when he defeated the governor-elect in the 2015 governorship election in the state.

Recall that in 2015, the Court of Appeal removed Okezie Ikpeazu as governor of Abia state, declaring Alex Otti the winner of the 2015 governorship elections in the state. Speaking in a recent interview according to Vanguard, Okezie Ikpeazu noted that he does not wish for anyone to challenge Alex Otti’s emergence in court.

He said even though the governor-elect took him through hell when he lost the 2015 governorship election in the state, he should be allowed to work since he is desperate to serve the good people of Abia state.

He said “This same governor elect (Alex Otti) took me through hell when he lost in 2015, he has been in the race for eight years, I feel he must have an agenda. He must be desperate to work for Abia and I’m still serious with my advice to candidates to let him be. The money that will be thrown into tribunal belongs to Ndi-Abia, the time would’ve been deployed to other things and Alex Otti would’ve been sufficiently distracted.

Okezie Ikpeazu however noted that some persons are not ready to listen to him. He said even some candidates of the Labour Party are planning to take some PDP candidates to court.

“Unfortunately, nobody wants to heed my advice, even the Labour Party is taking some PDP candidates to court, so nobody wants to listen.” He added….CONTINUE READING
